A great example of Swedish illustration from the 60's - wonderful colours and simplicity.  I've never looked at Picasweb before but I will be back.

Aimée Furnival

I've been thinking about my garden recently (just thinking about it of course) and came across this lovely idea called Postcarden. Aimée of A Studio for Design, London, has created a series of greetings cards that fold out into miniature gardens. Just water it and it grows!

I don't do too much packaging design or product for that matter (don't know why not as I love it) but I was really impressed by the clean simplicity to this design.....

Andrew's still a student but has a lovely style and a lovely blog! At first I thought it was drawn using Illustrator but he told me it was all done by his fair hands and some Berol pens!

So simple and so effective and all made out of paper - just what I was looking for to show my students.

Saturday

I've always liked the look of naive art and urban graphics. It's fresh and different, often bringing life back among the forgotten spaces of the city.

Sarah studied at Central Saint Martins around 2000 and went back to Germany where she has a design studio in Berlin - just loved the clean simplicity of this - I just wonder what the scale was.

Wonderful use of illustration with graphics - I must really like Sarah's work as I keep coming back to her or things just lead me to her.
