'Bonjour Monseir Monsier Solei'  
Born in France in 1972, now lives and works in London. Her head turning work includes her intriguing line of map-wear. She folds and cuts individual maps by region to produce clothes not to be worn but rather hung, mostly pleated parochial dresses and button-down shirts made out of modern maps.

I love the use of broken plates and over sized buttons on the dress installation. About 110 galleries participated and brought together high profile artists such as Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol and Takashi Murakami, along with these impressive newcomers. (but I can't seem to find their names - I will keep looking).

Jennifer works with a range of materials to create these really sweet shoes.  Her work includes dresses and more adult shoes too.  She often utilises plastics, papers and fabrics into her pieces as well as weaving, waxing, trapping, embedding and stitching.

Three children’s dresses: the first covered in hundreds of colourful scraps of cloth, fabric flowers and patterns, stitched together, a firm and strong armour of protection through fantasy and imagination. The second dress pale, of thin fragile fabric kept in shape with layers of delicate net, with burnt holes that from far away look like lacy pattern, pale flowers with burnt edges, loose threads. The third dress, layers of black lace and crocheted fuse wire over a thin white disintegrating dress draped over the black net of despair.

Kity Hefang Sun

The Central Saint Martins graduate Kity Hefang Sun's intricate shoulder piece is made from gold and crafted upon Origami. Hefang won the Astley Clarke award for outstanding craftsmanship.
