Singer Sewing Machines

Lovely day at the very first 'Made in the Shade' Indie jamboree in Glasgow and just had to take a pic of the windows at the "All Saints" shop on Buchanan Street - must be about 60 Singer sewing machines in their window display!

I've been working on my computer again trying out some software to help my students with and came up with this based on some vintage packaging paper I had..  great fun but it took ages!  I printed it out on to card and will put it on Etsy as a blank greeting's card some time this evening. .. off for a coffee!

Another wish achieved after many many years ...  I used to sneak up to watch 'The Prisoner' and we've just come back from a lovely visit to North Wales, Anglesey and the strange but pretty village of Portmeirion (where most of the TV programme was filmed) .....

Mixed media work based on my trip to Japan.  The base is pure white foam board / 'kappa board'. Materials include fabric, pen, Japanese newspaper, dry transfer lettering, some sparkle card and metallic pieces.
